JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Data Analyst/Power BI Engineer who brings both strong data modeling fundamentals and hands-on Power BI expertise.

This is not a "dashboard decoration" role, we need someone who is obsessed with data accuracy, understands how to architect a clean semantic layer, and can explain their decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

You will own the full journey from raw data to trusted, performant Power BI reports used by business stakeholders to make critical decisions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE
- 5+ years of Power BI experience, delivering impactful dashboards and reports
- Strong in data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling)
- Advanced DAX skills (CALCULATE, FILTER, ALL, time intelligence)
- Solid understanding of relationships (cardinality, filter direction)
- Strong SQL (CTEs, window functions, performance tuning)
- Experience with Performance Analyzer and report optimization
- Able to explain data modeling decisions clearly to stakeholders
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with Snowflake or cloud data warehouses
- Familiar with DBT
- Knowledge of Python / PySpark
- Experience with Power BI RLS
- Hands-on with Tabular Editor / DAX Studio
- Exposure to Deployment Pipelines / BI DevOps
- Understanding of Data Vault 2.0 or Medallion Architecture
