JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Open to U.S.-based candidates in Austin, Texas, Virginia, and nearby areas
Saigon Technology is expanding into the U.S. market and is looking for a Business Analyst with strong client-facing and pre-sales capabilities to join our team in Austin.
This role goes beyond traditional business analysis. You will work directly with clients to understand their business needs, translate them into effective technical solutions, and support the pre-sales process to help convert opportunities into successful projects.
You will act as a trusted advisor to clients and a bridge between business and technical teams, contributing both to project success and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Analysis & Solution Consulting
- Gather and understand business requirements clearly from stakeholders
- Work with stakeholders and technical teams to define practical and scalable solutions
- Create key documents such as solution overviews and functional specifications
- Identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement in requirements and processes
- Ensure the team stays aligned from requirements through implementation
- Support development and QA teams through knowledge sharing, impact analysis, and test review
2. Pre-sales & Client Engagement
- Participate in discovery sessions to understand client needs and shape solution directions
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals, estimations, and presentations
- Present solutions in a clear, business-oriented approach
- Support client discussions during proposal and negotiation phases
3. Business Development Support
- Support business development through client consulting and solution alignment
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine messaging and positioning
- Participate in client meetings, networking events, and industry engagements when required
- Provide market insights and feedback to support business growth in the U.S.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, strong experience working with B2B clients
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Experience in client-facing roles, pre-sales, or solution consulting
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have:
- Experience in software development / IT services industry
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, PSM I/II is a plus)
- Experience with mockup and wireframing tools (Figma, Moqups, Mockflow, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle)
- Exposure to pre-sales or business development activities
